to our living place of worship
St Machar’s is a welcoming church that aims to gather new disciples. The congregation is diverse, coming from all over the world and from many different denominations. The church is witness to 1400 years of faith, with a history dating back to around 600. The present building dates from the early fifteenth century and has a famous heraldic ceiling from 1520.
