Lairds and labourers, ministers and millers lie side-by-side in the crowded churchyard. It is a place much visited by people 'frae a- the airts'. Many visitors to the churchyard are in the process of compiling their family tree and come in search of an ancestor's grave.

Limited help in locating graves can sometimes be given by Cathedral staff or volunteers. It must, however, be stressed that the churchyard is in the care of Aberdeen City Council's Bereavement Services. Tel.: 01224-522485. E-mail: burials@aberdeencity.gov.uk
